Bedell Guitars owns the largest collection of legally documented Brazilian Rosewood of any acoustic guitar manufacturer. This astounding collection of magnificent tonewood is carefully used in the creation of very high end and custom acoustic guitars made in the custom shop in Bend, Oregon.

Building custom guitars using this “holy grail” of tonewoods is a process the craftsmen at Bedell do not take for granted. Each custom is meticulously designed and crafted with the utmost care.

Recently, the custom shop team had the task of building a unique Brazilian rosewood custom acoustic guitar: a left-handed dreadnought version of our Milagro Series, customized with a redwood top harvested from a storm-downed redwood named Lucky Strike, from which it takes its name. The final guitar build is nothing less than extraordinary – and it sounds fabulous. We can’t wait to hear more from the satisfied customer when it is received later this week
