After Bill and Beth Farnum learned that their daughter, Ella, had Rhett Syndrome, a rare yet severe brain disorder, they knew they had to raise awareness to help find a cure. Bill knew he had to combine his passion to find a cure with his passion for fishing. After organizing a fishing trip with a few friends he thought of asking for donations to go to his cause. He sought help from long-time friend, Jim Copeland, who could equally be as passionate about fundraising. They decided together they would take a handful of friends and head to Steamboat Springs for a weekend filled with fising, poker, and laughs. The only problem was; everyone who had heard about this trip wanted in! Since then Bill and Jims’ vision has turned into a series of events featuring some of the best fly-fishing is the West! With generous corporate sponsors, live music, and endless camaraderie over 300 people have participated in the past C4C events.
