The Nadas are Iowa’s signature alt-rock-country band, selling more than 200,000 albums through their own label, Authentic Records. In March 2010, they embarked on a new approach to recording with their seventh release, Almanac, which was recorded over one calendar year completely in front of their fans through a live streaming video blog. Providing a little something for everyone, in 2011, the band released “Bright Eyed & Bushy Tailed: an album for the kids”. Over the last 19 years, Nadas frontmen Mike Butterworth and Jason Walsmith have skillfully mixed country, rock, alternative, and indie with flawless songwriting and catchy melodies for a crowd-pleasing experience. Recently, Butterworth & Walsmith welcomed bassist Brian Duffey, and drummer Brandon Stone to the stage.
