A Tulsa, Oklahoma native, Neal Johnston is an Americana singer/songwriter currently based in Nashville, TN. It was during his time at the University of Oklahoma that he began writing songs and thus his direction in life would forever be changed. With influences ranging from B.B. King to Townes Van Zandt, at the heart of his, he has always sought to convey truth and raw emotions through honest songwriting. He has been a touring musician throughout the United States and is a regular of the world-famous Bluebird Café in Nashville. In January 2019, Neal released his first full-length LP titled, “Static on the Radio.”
