Bedell Guitars would like to congratulate Jacob L. on winning the Bedell Wildfire Orchestra guitar in the Take the Bedell Challenge Sweepstakes.  His winning photo was taken at Two Old Hippies in Nashville, TN.  He has received the guitar, and we asked him a few questions about it.

Bedell:  Had you heard of Bedell before you took the challenge?

Jacob:  I didn’t know about Bedell before walking into Two Old Hippies. Playing those first Bedells was a revelation.

Bedell:  What guitar did you try out for the challenge?

Jacob: I tried two parlor guitars – the 1964 and the Coffeehouse.

Bedell: How does it feel to be the brand new owner of a Bedell Wildfire?

Jacob: It’s fantastic. The Wildfire Orchestra is an incredibly versatile instrument with great highs and lows.  It has a rich and full sound whether I’m fingerpicking or strumming all out.

Bedell: What are you most looking forward to playing on the guitar?

Jacob:  I’m most excited about writing some new songs on it.  My band, Yardsale, just started up again after several years on hiatus, and playing and experimenting with the Wildfire has already sparked some inspiration.
