At Bedell Guitars, we take your music-and the instrument that helps create it-very seriously. After all, we're passionate about guitars, music, and precision craftsmanship. You'll hear and see the results in every Bedell Guitar. It starts with the solid woods that we individually hand select and cure until they're perfect for our luthiers to craft into the finest of instruments. Our dedication to building the perfect guitar continues through every step of our detailed process of handcrafting each instrument. The ebony fingerboards and solid mahogany necks are carefully shaped and hand sanded; the bracing is adjusted according to the woods and body style. Finally, your Bedell Guitar is hand polished and individually adjusted to deliver incredible music.

    We partner with the best to make sure your Bedell Guitar is the best. We turned to Grover for the gold-plated tuning machines on all of our Bedell Guitars. Why Grover? For more than 50 years Grover has been the industry benchmark for keeping top quality instruments in tune.

    No detail is too minor for our attention. Take, for instance, the Bedell peace sign logo inlaid in the headstock ebony veneer. Each of these intricate pieces is cut and then inlaid by hand. Beautiful.

    Stunning in their strength and beauty, our handcrafted solid maple bindings exquisitely hug every curve of your Bedell Guitar. Each instrument is hand-routed to perfectly match the sleek yet rugged binding that is then carefully glued in place.

  • Heel Cap

    Take a look at the heel of most guitars and you won't spot the precision with which Bedell Guitars meticulously hand crafts and applies each heel cap. The hand-selected maple binding blends almost seamlessly, denoting the superior craftsmanship at the heart of every Bedell Guitar.

  • Dovetail Joint

    Dovetail Joint

    Esteemed for its strength and beauty, a traditional, handcrafted dovetail joint bonds the ebony fingerboard with the solid mahogany neck of each Bedell Guitar. In keeping with the rest of our handcrafted guitar, the frets are hand-installed.

  • Soundhole Rosette

    Soundhole Rosette

    Sure it's pure decoration, but it's indicative of the high quality of every aspect of your Bedell Guitar. The soundhole rosette is carefully inlaid by hand. You didn't think we'd do it any other way, did you?

  • High Gloss Finish

    High Gloss Finish

    The pristine finish on a Bedell Guitar is the result of no fewer than six precision steps. First sealer is hand-applied, then electric sanded until it's smooth. With artistic care the finish is hand-sprayed. Next the guitar is wet-sanded by hand, a two-step process, before it is finally buffed on a wheel to achieve the optimum gloss finish.
